Check the filenames

Before you upload the images, check the filenames for non alphanumeric characters. Some web servers, browsers and computers don't support non alphanumeric characters in filenames, so it is a good idea to check through the filenames of images and remove any unusual characters.

Use these characters:

  • Letters a - z and A - Z
  • Numbers 0 - 9
  • The underscore ("_")

Avoid these characters:

  • Ampersand ("&")
  • Greater than and less than symbols ("< >")
  • Braces ("{ }")
  • Windows System characters: ("! # $ % * \ / ? : | ")

If you are having problems:

  • Remove all spaces
  • Use only lowercase letters
