Microsoft have released the latest version of Internet Explorer, version 8 (IE8). Klixo are still testing the website manager with IE8 and there are still some issues with compatability at this stage. Therefore some settings will need to be re-configured; after installing IE8 you may find that some Klixo functions produce an error message. This article highlights these issues and offers remedies.

We will modify this article as we continue to resolve issues with IE8 compatibility and test the system more. 

June 2009 First Update

1. Browser Check Error Message
   When visiting klixo.net.nz in IE8 you will recieve the "Browser Check Error Message", if you recieve this message you can do the following to make Klixo.net.nz compatable with IE8. You will need to do this on each computer you are using to update the website.
   1. Visit the website http://klixo.net.nz/klixo
   2. You will get the error message
   3. In Internet Explorer 8 go to Tools > Compatability View
      1. find "tools" in the top menu of the browser
      2. click in the drop down menu find and click on "Compatability View"
   4.  This will allow the Klixo Website Manager to run with IE8.
